If you ship in small boxes to the same destination, consider bundling the boxes together into a single unit with a strapping machine. You will save as much as 35 percent in UPS shipping charges.

We frequently are asked, "How much strapping do I need to apply in order to ship safely?", our answer is quite simple. To hold the package together during shipping, the tensile strength of the strapping material should be 1-1/2 times the weight of the package.

Using staples? On a standard four-flap box, most require only four staples.
